Interview with Nichola Parr, Sales Manager SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment

Name: Nichola Parr

Who do you work for?: SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment

What’s been the highlight of the year (2012) for your company?: The opening of Turtle Trek at SeaWorld and all the buzz about Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin next Spring!

What can we expect from your company in 2013?: More exciting announcements and the official opening of Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin at SeaWorld

Favourite Theme Park?: Busch Gardens

Favourite Theme Park ride and why?: SheiKra, front row far left seat. When it stops right before the drop and you can see nothing below you…..makes your heart stop! Manta at SeaWorld is pretty damn cool too!

Favourite Water Park and why?: Aquatica of course! Fantastic serene to extreme atmosphere. Chilling on the beach one minute and racing down Dolphin Plunge alongside Commerson’s Dolphins the next.

Best Theme Park food?: It has to be those gigantic Turkey legs and full on corns. Yum!

Best Theme Park tip?: Always pick up a park map at the front gate so you know when and where to head for the shows. At peak times of the year, head to the back of the park and work your way back to miss the early morning rush.

Best souvenir you’ve ever got from a park?: I’m a massive Betty Boop fan and have been since I was little so I’m like a big kid in the Betty Boop shops at Universal.

Longest you’ve queued for a ride?: 90 minutes for Lilo and Stitch at Magic Kingdom.

If you could make your own ride, what would it be?: It would have to be that water slide in the Barclay card TV advert and it would have a Goonies theme!

What’s it like working with orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk?: It’s ok…… 😉 It’s been great watching the company grow since we started working with them about 2 years ago and I look forward to seeing it develop even more over the coming years.

A big thank you to Nic for allowing us to interview her, we love her Theme Park ride idea “hey you guuuuuyyyysss”.

regards,

Jamie
