Hey Thrill Seekers,
Yesterday I posted about our top rated attractions at the Disney Parks and how close they were to my own choices.
The attraction rankings that appear on our website are voted for by Orlando Attraction Tickets customers after they have visited the resort. Upon return to the UK we’ll send them an email invite to review and rank the parks it’s a great way for us to get a feel about which attractions and parks are best to push and also gives new customers a good idea of what to expect.
Today I thought I’d go through the Universal Parks and see if the number 1 voted attractions match my own preferences.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts has been voted by you as the best attraction at Universal Studios. One customer said ‘absolutely superb.the best thing to hit universal studios for years’ which must mean something surely?! This attraction is being described by Universal as a multi-dimensional 3D ride being able to interact with each and every rider!
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is by far my favourite ride at Universal Studios! You can select your personal song from a list in your individual seat to listen to on the way round the coaster. When I visited this park last time, it was the first time I’d seen this ride and there was hardly any queue at all so we made the most of it and went on about 4 times! the adrenaline was pumping 10 times more than usual purely because of the music I had!
Islands of Adventure
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is definitely a popular one at Islands of Adventure! A very happy family said ‘We’ve ridden this several times and would always highly recommend it, especially having the surrounding village of Hogsmeade to explore at the same time, another brilliant ride!’ which gives you an idea of what’s around you. With this attraction being located in the Wizarding world of Harry Potter Hogsmeade, you are constantly surrounded by Harry Potter features!
My favourite ride at Islands of Adventure is a difficult one to choose as I love most of them but in the end it boils down to a toss up between Dragon Challenge and The Incredible Hulk Coaster but it would have to be……Dragon Challenge. It would just be boring if I chose The Incredible Hulk Coaster! And I am far from boring!! 😉 Dragon Challenge isn’t just your typical coaster. It has the twist of 2 coasters coinciding with each one another; the slow one and the fast one. You have to try both out though and my advice would be do the slow one first!
Wet n’ Wild
‘Blastaway Beach is GREAT!’ says one customer. With a whole area created for fun, this part of the park is great for the kids! They can run about having as much fun as they like with so many different activities for them to enjoy.
As per my previous blog about Disney, whenever I’ve visited Orlando, it’s not been warm enough to visit a water park so I’m still a Wet n’ Wild virgin. I’ve read so many good things about this park though so I will be sure to get round to it next year. I’m definitely looking forward to Disco H20! I’m a typical girl, love all things pretty, so the disco lights have sold me on that one!
The Hard Rock Cafe has been voted the most popular attraction on CityWalk by you. Being one of the most famous restaurants all over the world, it’s not going to disappoint! If you love BIG dinners, then the Hard Rock Cafe is a must!
