Top 20 Theme Parks In The U.S. By 2013 Attendance

Hey Thrill Seekers,

Theme parks in the USA are on a bit of a roll at the moment, Disney, Comcast (Universal) and the newly public company SeaWorld are spending big money which can only be good for guests.

This year alone we’ve already seen or are awaiting the launch of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley at Universal Studios, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride at Disney’s Magic Kingdom plus the new land at Busch Gardens Tampa, Pantopia featuring the terrifying Falcons Fury.

i love roller coasters

It looks like money will continue to be thrown at theme parks as long as guests keep coming, and looking at the 2013 attendance figures people are still coming in their droves.

Great to see that the majority of the North America parks saw an increase in footfall in 2013. Orlando obviously dominates the charts with 7 of the top 10 being Florida parks.

The park that will be happiest is probably Universal Studios Orlando who saw footfall increase by a massive 14% helped by the introduction of Transformer the ride 3D and the Dispicable Me! Ride. Universal Studios will expect this trend to continue when Diagon Alley opens to the public!

Smiles included…

Jamie
