One of the major advantages of our new brand Theme Park Tickets Direct is being able to write about other parks around the World. For todays post we don’t actually have to travel that far, its a simple trip to the west coast of America to visit Universal Studios Hollywood where hot on the official release of their Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction they confirmed the addition of a new attraction.
Fast & Furious Supercharged is being described as a 3D-HD thrill ride, based around the hugely popular movie franchise The Fast and the Furious, visitors will go undercover in to the underground world of street racing where their identity will be revealed which leads to a daring escape.
The attraction itself will be hydraulic motion-based and will include special effects, state-of-the-art 3D audio system, and 3D imagery projected onto a 400 foot long 360-degree screen which will encircle Studio Tour guests in a newly-constructed 50,000-square-foot structure on the backlot. The screen will feature 18 4K projectors.

The new attraction isn’t a stand alone ride but rather an addition to the backlot tram tour. The main draw of this ride apart from the link to the movie franchise is the final sequences which are said to involve a street race where guests will feel like they are hitting speeds of 120mph!
