Hey Thrill Seekers,
As most of you will already know Wet N’ Wild will be officially closing at the end of the year. 🙁 With that in mind Universal decided last year that all Universal tickets would expire on the 31/12/16, this was to prevent any misunderstanding with the aforementioned closure.
Although we could see the logic there it did mean those who had purchased a 2 park ticket around Christmas time were potentially going to miss out on some days.
So we were glad to see that Universal have today changed their stance on this please see the statement below;
I’m pleased to confirm that, effective immediately, the expiry date of the 2016 2-Park Bonus ticket has been extended from 31 December 2016 to 13 January 2017.
The 2016 2-Park Bonus Ticket entitles one (1) guest admission to Universal Studios Florida®, Universal’s Islands of Adventure®, and Universal CityWalk® on all days during a fourteen (14) consecutive day period which includes the first day any portion of the ticket is used and will have to be activated on or before 31 December 2016.
Guests activating their 2016 2-Park Bonus Ticket on 31 December 2016 will be able to utilize their ticket until 13 January 2017 included.
The expiration date of all 2016 2-Park Bonus Tickets sold prior to this extension have already been updated. No action is required on your behalf as these tickets will automatically work at the turnstile post 31 December 2016 (provided they have been activated on or before this date)
Well done Universal, especially including those who have already purchased tickets, with the opening of Skull Island: Reign of Kong this summer the Universal 2 park ticket is the hottest ticket around.
Please note: The following tickets also include the 2 park universal ticket and therefore will be included in the above announcement;
- Orlando Passport
- Disney Universal Switch Ticket
- Orlando Passport Mini
- 5 Park Orlando Switch Ticket
- Orlando Park Hopper
We’ll be updating the website and iPhone app shortly to express this change.
