As with all water parks the weather and maintenance can unfortunately cause the parks to close, while we can’t guess on weather closures we can keep you informed of planned closures.

During the fall and winter time period, Volcano Bay will be closed on select dates:

• Nov 2025: 3, 4, 12, 13, 17, 18, 25, 26
• Dec 2025: 3, 4, 8, 9, 17, 18, 22, 23, 30
• Jan 2026: 7, 8, 12, 13, 21, 22, 26, 27
• Feb 2026: 4, 5, 9, 10, 18, 19, 23, 24

A seasonal closure begins on October 26, 2026, with a current planned reopening on or before March 24, 2027. Universal will use the seasonal closure to conduct annual maintenance on several attractions and areas of the park.

Starting October 1, 2025, the TapuTapu wearable and virtual line will no longer be available. Guests can access attraction queues at their leisure
