What Can We Expect For HHN35?

Hey Thrill Seekers,
We’ve well and truly entered Halloween season with Universals Halloween Horror Nights 34 in full swing. This year has seen Orlando Attraction Tickets sell a record amount of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights – Single-Night Ticket and as always we put this down to the amazing IP’s Universal get to work with. This year they’ve delved into their Pandora’s box to give us such horrifying IP’s as five Nights at Freddy’s, Terrifier, WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks and Jason Un1v3erse, being able to pluck from modern and historical horrors helps to keep HHN fresh and frightening.
So what can we expect for 2026? In this post we’re going to have a look at some of the possibilities.
Scream
Although it’s never appeared as a stand alone house in Orlando. The Scream franchise was used in Hollywood in 2011 as the events Icon and as a scarezone. Scream has recently seen a revival in interest and with a new film coming out in 2026 (Scream 7) HHN35 could be seen as a good way of continuing marketing the film to a targeted audience after its Feb release date.
The plot will shift its focus to the original “final girl,” Sidney Prescott, exploring her life with a family and how she must protect them from a new Ghostface threat

Black Phone
Universal has always had a great working relationship with Blumhouse and as this film is part of Universal Pictures it seems a no brainer that we’ll see Black Phone again at HHN35. Black Phone appeared at HHN31 and was part of the Horrors of Blumhouse haunted house.
Part of the film takes place in a Winter Camp which seems the perfect setting for a Halloween Horror Nights house, where they reduce the Florida heat and crank up the scares.

Evil Dead Burn
Evil Dead Burn is a stand alone film but set in the Evil Dead “World” set for release in July 2026 this might be a tiny bit of a long shot but is based on a tiny bit of logic. Evil Dead featured as a house at Halloween Horror Nights 13 the same year that the remake movie came out. The plot for the new adaptation is a closely guarded secret but fan theories suggest one option being based in a hospital… which of course, is a perfect horror setting.

Insidious
There is an Insidious film scheduled for release in 2026 however information is very sketchy and therefore the likelihood of revisiting this IP is unlikely. Insidious has featured twice at HHN firstly as part of the aforementioned Horrors of Blumhouse and in 2024 as Insidious: The Further.
Five Nights at Freddy’s
Possibly a bit early as Five Nights at Freddy’s is currently a house in this years event however with a new move coming out this year could we see a sequel at HHN36? This years house has been praised for its authenticity, impressive animatronics and immersive experience.

Resident Evil
Another horror computer game brought to the big screen. Resident Evil has also graced HHN back in 2013 Resident Evil: Escape from Raccoon City and so has history and with a new remake set to hit our screens in 2026, could we about to revisit Raccoon City?
Silent Hill
Yep the 3rd suggestion based on a computer game and another that has already had an appearance at HHN in 2012 where the “Welcome to Silent Hill” house garnered rare reviews. In early 2026 we’ll see the film “Return to Silent Hill” hit our screens which could open up a possible return to HHN.
The Mummy
If I had to bet my house on an IP being part of HHN36 this would be the one. A remake of the classic Universal Monsters film is set to be released in April 2026 and of course is owned by Universal. The new film focus’s on a family at the centre of a terrifying ancient evil unleashed by a tomb in Egypt, the Egyptian setting would allow for a visually appealing house rooted in Universal folk law.

Which would you love to see?
Have we missed any obvious ones?
Halloween Horror Nights tickets are still available to purchase for this years event by visiting Orlando Attraction Tickets
