All Change At Disney
Morning Thrill Seekers,
Last night Disney took out their magic wand and used it to reshuffle its corporate management ranks. More than half a dozen executives were effected including the introduction of a new president for Walt Disney World.
George A. Kalogridis, who has received major prop’s for his handling of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, will move to the east coast to take over as president of Disney World, the company’s biggest and most-profitable resort.
Current President Meg Crofton will focus exclusively on her duties as president of all operations for Disney theme parks in the United States and Europe — a new position created a year and a half ago amid another management restructuring.
Michael Colglazier vice president in charge of Disney’s Animal Kingdom will replace Kalogridis and run Disneyland.
Josh D’Amaro, who currently runs the company’s Adventures by Disney packaged-tour business will take over from Colglazier at Animal Kingom.
Confused yet?
The major move really is Kalogridis who is now at the helm of the companies jewel, all eyes will be on him and how he see’s the future of Disney. Kalogridis was not available to interview.
regards,
Jamie,
