We received news over the weekend that its that time of year for SheiKra to get a fresh coat of paint.

Sheikra is one of the most recognisable coasters in the World with its terrifying 200 foot, 90 degrees drop, it is a massive draw for thrill seekers everywhere.

However even the most draw dropping rides require mainteniance at some point, so from today until February 16th, SheiKra will be closed while she under takes a quick makeover including a lick of paint.

SheiKra Facelift Facts

The project will require 600 gallons of paint to cover the 165,000-square-foot surface area. Approximately 40 painters will work around the clock to finish the job, which is expected to take 6,000 to 7,000 hours to complete.

Don’t fear though, Busch Gardens is not all about SheiKra. You can still get your adrenaline fix of great rides like Cheetah Hunt, Montu, Kumba and Gwazi!! All designed to help you lose your lunch 😉
