Universal Orlando has confirmed that Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure will no longer offer an Express Pass queue from July 1, 2026.
The hugely popular attraction in Islands of Adventure only recently began accepting Express Pass, so this change may come as a surprise to many guests planning future holidays.
However, while the dedicated Express lane is going away, there are still plenty of ways to experience one of Universal’s best attractions without spending your whole day in line.

Located inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure has been a fan favourite since opening thanks to its mix of storytelling, launches, creatures and surprises through the Forbidden Forest.
It remains one of the most in-demand rides at Universal Orlando Resort and is often considered a must-do attraction for Harry Potter fans.

From July 1 onwards, guests will no longer be able to use Universal Express Pass at Hagrid’s.
Instead, the attraction will operate with its regular standby queue, alongside Single Rider when available.
Universal has not announced any other operational changes at this stage.
