Hey Thrill Seekers,
Travelling by car on your Orlando holiday? It’s helpful to budget for parking at the theme parks especially if you’re renting a car or driving between parks.
Below we break down the latest parking fees (updated as of 26/02/26) at Disney, Universal and SeaWorld plus useful tips to save time and money on the day.
Walt Disney World Resort Parking
Disney’s parking fees apply to all four main theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom).
Current Disney Parking Fees
- Standard Parking: ~US$35 per day
- Preferred Parking: ~US$50–$60 per day (closer to park entrance)
- Oversized Vehicle Parking (RV, trailer, shuttle): ~US$40 per day
Important Notes
- Once you pay for parking, you can use that ticket to visit any of the theme parks that day it’s not one-park-only.
- Parking fees are non-refundable and subject to availability.
- Disney Resort hotel guests receive complimentary standard parking for the length of their stay.
- Standard parking at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is complimentary for all Guests.
🐭 – Parking tip: Trams run frequently from the lots to each gate, and preferred parking can shave 10–15 minutes off your walk at the end of a long day.

What You Need to Know

- Re-entry is allowed if you keep your parking ticket and re-scan it at the toll booth.
- In some years, Universal has offered free regular parking after 6pm on certain days for CityWalk visitors, but this doesn’t count during major events like Halloween Horror Nights.
🌎 – Parking tip: Prime Parking puts you close to the escalators and moving walkways in the garages often worth it if you’re with kids or visiting in busy seasons.
SeaWorld Orlando Parking
SeaWorld’s official rates can vary slightly, but most visitors pay around:
- General Parking: ~US$35 per day
- Preferred Parking: ~US$49+ per day
- VIP Parking: ~US$65+ per day (closest spaces)
As with Disney and Universal, parking does not include park admission you’ll still need a valid SeaWorld ticket.
🐋 – Money saving tip: Some SeaWorld tickets include free parking.
General Orlando Parking Tips
Budget for Parking as Part of Your Trip
Parking is typically not included with theme park tickets, so add roughly US$30–$60 per day into your budget if you’re driving between parks.
Alternatives to Parking Every Day
Consider:
- Hotel shuttle services (many resorts have free or low-cost shuttles)
- Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are often cheaper than daily parking
- Staying on site – Disney Resort parking can be free for hotel guests
Arrive Early on Busy Days
Parking fills up quickly during:
- UK school holidays
- Easter & Spring Break
- US Summer
- Christmas & New Year
Arriving before park opening gives you the best space and shortest tram queues.
Should I Drive or Use Transport?
Driving into the parks gives you flexibility, especially if you’re:
- Visiting multiple parks in a day
- Travelling with toddlers or lots of luggage
But parking costs add up, so alternatives like hotel shuttles, Uber/Lyft or even car-share services often work out cheaper — especially if you don’t plan to travel off-site.

Final Tip
If you’re staying on-site at Disney, or taking advantage of our SeaWorld tickets with free parking at the parks then it’s one less expense to think about and that can save your holiday budget for food, extras and souvenirs.
Smiles included…
