Jim Dean, Busch Gardens Park President said;

We know guests from around the world have been waiting to experience this one-of-a-kind thrill ride, and we are excited to officially invite those guests to ride Falcon’s Fury

For those not in the know, Falcon’s Fury stands at 335 feet and takes riders soaring 60 mph straight down. At the ride’s highest point Busch Gardens has added an element of surprise; like its bird of prey namesake, riders pivot 90 degrees in midair to a face-down dive position. An instant later, riders plunge with speed and power that they’ve never experienced before.

The ride has been compared to skydiving by its designers who have used special sequencing technology so that passengers can’t anticipate when they will drop each time.

With no connecting structures, it will be the tallest freestanding drop tower in North America and passengers will be able to see as far as St, Petersburg Clearwater. Over 100 tonnes of steel has been used to create the tower, that’s the weight of over 25 elephants!

The surrounding area of Falcon’s Fury has also been redeveloped into Pantopia. The fully remodelled Pantopia boasts elaborately-jewelled theming, feature thrilling rides and attractions, sensational new food and beverage outlets, and exciting entertainment and shop.

I cannot wait to ride this!

Smiles included…

Jamie
