One of 2016’s most anticipated arrivals is Universal’s Skull Island: Reign of Kong, this unique 3D based attraction has been in the pipeline for a couple of years.
Using cutting edge technology including a trackless transportation system we’ve slowly been drip fed information from the Universal PR team like the creatures you’ll encounter, the Vastatosaurus rex, Decarnocimex and the Arachno-claw to more specific information like the temple doors are 72 feet tall, 32 feet wide and the rock work around the doors being hand sculpted and taking 70 thousand man hours to complete!
One thing we haven’t been told is when the attractions will open… Here’s our guess…

We have no insider information regarding the date, no one has dropped us a secret email and Universal have definitely not given us a sly nod we’re basing all around one email we’ve seen…and the contents of that email…
Well its an invitation to a Universal media event for Skull Island: Reign of Kong taking place in Islands of Adventure, the invites cover the week commencing the 20th June…
That’s it, that’s what we’re basing our guess on, historically when a media events happens the attraction is then placed live within 2 weeks. We’re thinking Universal will have this highly anticipated ride up and running in time for July….
