Last night a large majority of the World stopped as Apple held its much anticipated media event to introduce us all to the iPhone 6, iPhone Plus and the Apple Watch while all very impressive it was Apples new payment system that caught the eye of Disney.
Selected as one of Apples immediate partners Apple Pay will be installed and ready to use in Orlando from December, just in time for Christmas.
What is Apple Pay
Apples Pay will offer customers who shop at supported stores the opportunity to pay with just One touch there’s no need to open an app or even wake your display thanks to the innovative Near Field Communication antenna in iPhone 6. To pay, just hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. You don’t even have to look at the screen to know your payment information was successfully sent. A subtle vibration and beep lets you know.

Apple Pay makes shopping fast and easy for guests and simplifies the check-out process for our cast members, Our guests are going to love the convenience of Apple Pay, which will bring an easy, secure and private way to make purchases at Disney Store and Walt Disney World Resort.
Apple Pay will also be available on Apple’s new wearable technology the Apple Watch set for launch in early 2015 the Apple Watch can feature one of our very good friends Mr Mouse via the icon image of Mickey using his hands are the watch arms.
With the introduction of Disney’s My Magic Plus which already offers customers staying onsite the opportunity to purchase items via their my magic+ band the introduction of Apple Pay will give those staying off site the same kind of experience.
