Universal Orlando Confirm The Return Of Michael Myers For HHN26

Hey Thrill Seekers,

Halloween Horror Nights is just around the corner and today Universal have named another classic return….

Here’s what Universal had to say;

The original Halloween maze we created for Halloween Horror Nights 24 was a massive success. For fans of the original film, it was an opportunity to walk through the scenes of a revered horror film and be pursued by horror icon Michael Myers.

Just like the movies, we’ve been inspired to continue the story. You’ll experience the final scene of 2014’s maze and immediately walk in-between the homes of Haddonfield. You’ll be attacked by Myers the entire way before seeking refuge within the hospital. We’re recreating all the iconic events from the story, including Myers’ fiery “end”.

Check out this video teaser.

Universal went on to state;

Growing up with the original Halloween, I always loved and appreciated that its sequel was simply titled, Halloween II. It literally picked up the events within seconds from where the previous ended. I found this so cool. What I thought was the end was merely the first half of a horrific story!

The sequel continued Myers’ terror on the town of Haddonfield. And instead of a sleepy neighbourhood, we were placed into the confines of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. It’s a cold, stark setting, but also—just like the original—very familiar.

And just like in 2014, we couldn’t be happier to be collaborating with Malek Akkad, producer of so many instalments of the Halloween franchise.

I had the pleasure? of visiting the first Halloween House in 2014 and it was by far my favourite, I can’t wait to see what they have in store this time!

You can buy Halloween Horror Nights Tickets directly from Orlando Attraction Tickets from as little as £82.00

Halloween Horror Nights Reveals Halloween House

Hey Thrill Seekers,

As we head toward September and the start of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights we’re beginning to get a very good sense of what can be expected. Last night Universal announced their final house and it has all the elements to be a cracker!

Is there another film franchise that optimises the theme more than Halloween? For anyone not familiar with the story, Halloween tells the tale of fictional Midwestern town of Haddonfield, Illinois. On Halloween night in 1963, a six-year-old Michael Myers murders his older sister by stabbing her with a kitchen knife. Fifteen years later, he escapes from a psychiatric hospital, returns home, and stalks teenager Laurie Strode and her friends. Michael’s psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis suspects Michael’s intentions, and follows him to Haddonfield to try to prevent him from killing.

The original film was made for $325,000.00 and grossed $70 Million Worldwide! The film is known for the iconic figure of Michael Myers and the eerie music that played throughout the film.

halloween-movieUniversal wrote via their blog,

“The Shape” will be lurking around every corner in the Halloween house. The theme music will be blaring through every inch of Haddonfield, Illinois. And you’ll now be able to witness, in real life, “The night He came home”.

“The Shape” was the term used to describe Michael Myers. To accompany the announcement Universal also released this video.

Halloween Horror Nights looks like an event not to miss. You can purchase Halloween Horror Nights Tickets directly from Orlando Attraction Tickets where you’ll be able to sample not only Halloween but also The Walking Dead, From Dusk til Dawn and Aliens Vs Predator to name just a few.

Look Who’s Coming Back To Halloween Horror Nights 24… Maybe?

Hey Thrill Seekers,

Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is shaping up nicely for you 2014. Recently Universal have officially announced The Purge: Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Face Off and From Dusk til Dawn.

What we haven’t had announced yet is that one icon horror figure or film that makes you say “Holy Moly”… last year it was The American Werewolf in London this year we think it could well be Halloween itself in the form of horror icon Michael Myers.

Last week on twitter @HalloweenMovies the official account for Mr Myers and the Halloween brand possibly jumped the gun a little and released this image below. I flukey captured the image before it was hastily removed.

10408003_10154444956985643_7756082054220431015_nThe image definitely looks official and is most definitely the horror icon Universal would dedicate a house too…

We’re awaiting Universal Orlando to officially announce it but I think its pretty safe to say Michael Myers will be scaring the bejesus out of guest in 2014 🙂

You can purchase tickets for Halloween Horror Nights at Orlando Attraction Tickets for as little as £54.00. So what are you waiting for… or are you scared 😉
