With the introduction of date-based tickets, the opening of Epic Universe, and new Express Passes, choosing the right Universal tickets for your holiday can feel overwhelming. Let me guide you through the available options to help you select the best ticket or bundle for an unforgettable holiday.
Universal 3-Park Explorer Ticket (2025)
The classic, a staple in the Universal ticket family if you’d like. We will however be bidding farewell to the 3-Park Explorer at the end of this year 🥲 This ticket entitles you to 14 consecutive days unlimited access in to: Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay. The 14 consecutive days starts upon the first visit date you enter at the time of booking.
The last start date you can select for this ticket is the 31st December 2025.
Universal 3-Park Explorer Ticket PLUS 1-Day Epic Universe (2025)
This is another ticket that is only available for 2025. It is valid for 15 consecutive days. Broken down like this: 14 days unlimited access in to: Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay PLUS 1 days access in to Epic Universe. There are no multi-day tickets available for Epic Universe in 2025 so this ticket is excellent value for money. The 15 consecutive day period begins upon the first visit date you enter at the time of booking.
The last start date you can select for this ticket is the 31st December 2025.
Universal All Parks Ticket (2026 / 2027)
The All Parks Ticket is a new ticket for 2026 and entitles you to 14 consecutive days unlimited access to: Epic Universe, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay. The 14 consecutive day period begins upon the first visit date you enter at the time of booking.
This ticket can be booked for start dates between the 1st January 2026 – 19th October 2026 and 25th March 2027 – 31st December 2027 as Volcano Bay is closing for refurbishment on the 26th October 2026 with a planned reopening date of the 25th March 2027.
Universal Three Park Adventure Ticket (2026/2027)
Universal have bought out the Three Park Adventure Ticket for anyone travelling whilst Volcano Bay is closed. It will entitle you to 14 consecutive days unlimited access to: Epic Universe, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
It is available for start dates between the 20th October 2026 – 24th March 2027 and does not include Volcano Bay.
Universals Halloween Horror Nights is one of the best events in the world and has won many awards to support this! It takes place in Universal Studios every year usually beginning in late August / Early September and ending in the first few days of November. Haunted houses, terrifying scare zones and mind boggling live shows / entertainment it’s definitely an event you don’t want to miss if you’re in Orlando during the Halloween period!
Dates can and do sell out for this event, you can book them on a deposit when they go on sale (which is usually in the first few months of the year)
Express Passes
There are 12 different types of Express Passes for Universal, yep you read that right.. 12. It does mean you should be able to find the perfect express pass for your trip though! I’ve linked each one below with a brief summary of what each one includes.
Universal Studios Florida Universal Express Pass – Skip the regular lines at most popular rides and attractions once per participating ride / attraction in Universal Studios on the selected date.
Universal Studios Florida Universal Express Unlimited Pass – With this one you get unlimited express access at most popular rides and attractions meaning you can use the express lane as many times as you want within in Universal Studios on the selected date.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure Universal Express Pass – Skip the regular lines at most popular rides and attractions once per participating ride in Islands of Adventure on the selected date.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure Universal Express Unlimited Pass – The same as the Unlimited pass mentioned above but for Islands of Adventure instead. Skip the regular lines at most popular rides and attractions as many times as you want in Islands of Adventure on the selected date.
2-Park Universal Express Pass – This entitles you one time express ride access at participating rides and attractions within both Universal Studios Florida AND Universal’s Islands of Adventure on the same day.
2-Park Universal Express Unlimited Pass – This entitles you unlimited express ride access at participating rides and attractions within both Universal Studios Florida AND Universal’s Islands of Adventure on the same day
2-Day 2-Park Universal Express Unlimited Pass – This ticket grants unlimited express ride access to participating rides and attractions at both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure on the same day. It is valid for any two days within a five-day consecutive period starting from the selected date.
1-Day Universal Express Pass – Epic Universe – Does what it says on the tin! This one will entitle you to one time express ride access at participating rides and attractions in Epic Universe on the selected date.
2-Day Universal Express Pass – The 2 day Express will allow you one time express ride access at participating rides and attractions within Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure AND Epic Universe on the same day. You can use the 2 days access over a 5 consecutive day period which will start upon the date selected at the time of booking.
3-Day Universal Express Pass – Same as above but for 3 days access over a 6 consecutive day period.
4-Day Universal Express Pass – Same as above but for 4 days access over a 7 consecutive day period.
5-Day Universal Express Pass – Again, the same as above but for 5 days access over a 8 consecutive day period.
