Undoubtedly this years biggest launch has been Universal Studios Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley. The buzz surrounding the land has kept us in posts for over two years and the material released by Universal Orlando tends to point towards the whole land being a massive success however the real test is how our customers rate it.

June 26th we took a quick screen grab of the votes accumulated for Universal Studios it showed the number one ride to be Despicable Me Minion Mayhem with a total of 37 votes. Within the 20 days since launch the flagship ride at Diagon Alley, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts secured 9 votes. To put this into perspective to obtain votes it mean our customers must have travelled and returned from holiday since the 8th July. 9 voted within such a short window is pretty impressive.

Not only has Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts proved popular but also the Hogwarts Express. We’ve seen both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure secure votes for this attraction with the most common review confirming how realistic the train and Kings Cross looks.
For those visiting within the first few months of opening you should expect to queue, the demand for all things Potter is such that we’ve seen average waiting times top 5 hours!
