Hey Thrill Seekers,
Happy new year! With freeeeeezing cold temperatures here in the UK this week i’ve had a look forward to Summer 2026 and put together a little post on things that will be coming to Walt Disney World this summer.
BRAND NEW: Jessie’s Roundup Will Be First Show in Magic Kingdom’s Diamond Horseshoe in Over 20 Years.
Just for Cool Kid’s Summer pals from Toy Story are ready for a rootin’ tootin’ good time at the Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. Join Jessie, Woody, and friends for some energetic fun at Jessie’s Roundup, where you’ll craft, dance, and yodel your hearts out in this western revue. Looks like the tables will be cleared, giving kids plenty of room to run around in the air-conditioned space, all while being surrounded by Toy Story characters! This special event sounds like it will be available from May 26 to September 8, 2026.
Starting off with the re-opening of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Spring 2026, ‘Come in, Star Command: It’s time to have a blast. At Magic Kingdom, Space Rangers of all ages – and heights – can join Buzz to save the galaxy and defeat the evil emperor Zurg on this recharged attraction. Embark on your mission by boarding your updated ride vehicle and blast interactive targets with new hand-held blasters. You may even reach the Galactic Hero rank.’

Zootopia: Better Zoogether!
If you haven’t stopped by to see this new 4D show at Animal Kingdom, summer is the time to do so! Join friends like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde for a fun celebration that brings the entire animal kingdom together. Get ready to laugh and go wild to special performances across Zootopia.

The Mandalorian and Grogu on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
Beginning May 22 at Hollywood Studios, Din Djarin, aka The Mandalorian, and his youngling Grogu lead you on a new mission tracking down ex-Imperial officers throughout the galaxy.
Gather your crew for an exhilarating chase while manning the Millennium Falcon. And, for the first time ever, you’ll be in charge of what planets your ship visits, so you may fly through some familiar locations.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
This revamped attraction will come speeding into Hollywood Studios this summer, fueled by the fun tunes of the Electric Mayhem and the high-speed hijinks of The Muppets.

Soarin’ Across America
This fan-favorite EPCOT attraction will receive an all-new airborne adventure across the U.S. this summer, honoring the heart and spirit of the nation.
In celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States, Soarin’ Across America will showcase the beauty of the country from sea to shining sea, and will be ready for takeoff by Memorial Day.
If you’re travelling with kids (or are a adult who really loves Bluey and Disney Jr. – no judgement here) then this next part is for you!

Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station
Your favorite blue heeler is on her way to Animal Kingdom! Beginning summer 2026, you can play and dance with Bluey and Bingo as they take an excursion over to Conservation Station.
Once you hop off the Wildlife Express Train, get ready for fun. Play special games directly from Bluey episodes, grab a photo with Bluey and Bingo themselves, and even discover animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia.
GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall
A Cool KIDS’ SUMMER special, you can dance and play along with the Goof Troop, DJ Dance Pants, and Goofy himself during wacky activities at CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT. Goofy’s Game Machine brings silly, kid-approved games like Goofy Says, Balloon Bonanza, and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks.

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!
Your little ones will love to sing and dance with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse at Hollywood Studios in a new stage production inspired by Disney Jr.’s global hit series, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Mickey and Minnie invited Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto for a party at the Clubhouse, only the guests haven’t arrived yet.
So, Mickey and Minnie take the party – and you – on the road to find them. The whole family will love to sing along to upbeat original songs, join in on interactive fun, and dance like no one is watching.
Those are just a few of the exciting new things happening this year at Walt Disney World Orlando – which are you most looking forward to?
Smiles Included,
Abby
