Merlin Entertainments Group has announced details of the attractions and prices at LEGOLAND Florida, which opens in October 2011.
The 150-acre venue is located in Winter Haven, 45 minutes southwest of Orlando, on the site of the former Cypress Gardens theme park.
It will offer ten different lands – The Beginning, Fun Town, Miniland USA, Castle Hill, Land of Adventure, XTreme, LEGO City, Imagination Zone, Pirate Cove and DUPLO Village – featuring 50 interactive rides, shows and attractions aimed at families with children aged two to 12.
Pre-opening discounted tickets are available for a limited time at $65 for adults, a saving of $10 from the standard price, and $55 for seniors and children aged three to 12, with children under three free.
Also available is a lifetime pass costing $2,500, which includes unlimited admission, discounts on preferred parking, special events and discounts on food and merchandise.
There are currently four LEGOLAND parks worldwide: Billund, Denmark, which opened in 1968; Windsor (1996); Carlsbad, California (1999); and Günzburg, Germany (2002).
