Hey Thrill Seekers,
When Tom Saggs, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts blogs about My Magic Plus we listen (well read actually). Today Tom has done just that, confirming that My Magic Plus was now available to guest who are staying off site.
Disney’s goal from the beginning has been to enhance the guest experience and make it even more immersive, seamless and personal than ever before. 3.5 Million people have now tested My Magic Plus and Disney are confirming that the majority of people are stating that the experience has enhanced their visit.
Tom stated;
As expected, most of our guests think that securing times to ride our attractions is one of the best ways to maximize the fun of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
One of the questions are customers have been asking us is, can we add additional FastPass+’s while we’re in the park, up until now our answer has been no but Tom also confirmed that an additional FastPass option will be available while in the parks.
We’ve heard from a number of guests that they would like the opportunity to add additional FastPass+ entitlements during their visit, in addition to the three they can plan in advance. So, we’re working on providing them with the ability to add and enjoy additional entitlements on the day of their visit. Once they’ve used the three they’ve booked, we’ll enable them to select another at kiosks in the parks. And once they’ve used the fourth, they can select another, and so on.
He even covered the park hopping question,
We also heard that other guests liked the fact that with the FastPass+ service they could use FASTPASS when they park hopped. So we’re working on a service enhancement to add that feature to FastPass+ as well.
So to confirm;
- Disney are working on allowing additional FastPasses to be be added in the park at their Kiosks.
- Disney are working on allowing FastPasses to be used for park hopping. So you could book FastPasses for multi parks in one day.
We’ll keep you posted on when these features are activated.
Smiles included…
