Introducing The New Look Orlando Attraction Tickets

Morning Thrill Seekers,

In October 2012 our CTO, Karl Hendrie set about rethinking and redesigning Orlando Attraction Tickets. Karl had overseen the past 3 incarnations of OAT and was keen not to repeat past mistakes.

Here at Orlando Attraction Tickets, we pride ourselves on offering something different. In a industry dominated by boring shopping cart sites I previously disappointed myself by towing the line. With the new OAT site I promised I wouldn’t make this mistake again.

The first thing Karl did was ditch the old logo and tagline, he wanted something that incorporated the fun of theme park tickets, not just the fun of riding a roller coaster but all aspects of the experience from browsing to buying.

On the 30th October 2012 we launched the new look logo and introduced our tagline “Smiles included”. Karl used the new positive, smiley attitude within his redesign.

We are happy to finally show you the new look orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk site. Today I will introduce you to some of the main features.

 OAT new

The main alteration has been the way we display our tickets, we have categorised them via supplier (Universal, Disney, SeaWorld etc) we have hopefully made them more visually appealing and made them a lot easier to share across your social networks.

social OAT

You will also notice the green love heart scattered around the site, this is directly linked to our new “Wish List” feature, which allows users to create lists of tickets that they can use to share with companions, make notes of parts of the park they’d be interested in seeing and hopefully ways we haven’t even considered.

A few lists already created by myself include

User’s Wish Lists can also been viewed if the creator has given permission, these can be viewed here.

Another major redesign has been the ticket pages themselves, we’ve revamped the terminology to make it as easy to understand as possible, we’ve also added rich imagery and video media to help you get even more excited about your holiday! (not that you probably need it)

The website has loads of new features and over the next few weeks I’ll write about them in more depth here, for the time being have a look around the site and let us know what you think about it.

Smiles included…

Jamie

Are Disney Building A Tron Ride?

Afternoon Thrill Seekers,

At the beginning of this year I had the pleasure of interviewing a fewtron-motorcycle people within the Orlando Attraction Tickets industry and I have slowly  posted them on the site.

One of my very first interviews was with our very own Chief Technical Officer Karl Hendrie, I asked him the same standard questions I ask everyone. One of the more inventive and popular questions was this;

If you could make your own ride, what would it be?

This is the answer that Karl gave;

I think that a Tron experience would be amazing. You know the bit in the film where they race those awesome motor bikes? – imagine that as a roller coaster, sat on a bike, strapped in, a wicked light show and above all lots and lots of speed! Oh and copyright me on that one!

So rumours hitting the web today have left me wondering if Karl has either got super powers or is a theme park genius….

First reported on micechat and revolving around the Disneyland California rumour has it that to coincide with the release of the 3rd Tron movie Disney are talking about building a ride very similar to the one imagined by Karl above.

Now reports do suggest that Disney Imagineers are just talking about the concept and as you can probably imagine they talk about a lot of concepts so it doesn’t mean this will definitely happen but if popular in California you would expect it to be moved to Orlando.

What do you think, does Karl have the sight? 🙂

regards,

Jamie

The Top 5 Questions We Get Asked At Orlando Attraction Tickets

Afternoon Thrill Seekers,

The purchasing of Orlando Attraction Tickets can seem pretty trickyOAT questions, there’s so much choice! There’s so much to do! and that can lead to Soooo many questions.

To help you guys out I’ve put together a list of our most popular frequently asked questions and provided the answers for them.

Q: Do you supplier real tickets?

A: Yep, we only supply real gate ready tickets, no queuing when you get to the parks to exchange a voucher for tickets, just head straight to the turnstiles and in you go. 🙂

Q: Do you charge for delivery?

A: Nope, standard delivery with orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk is free of charge. We do offer an express delivery option that currently costs £10.00.

Q: When do you send out the tickets?

A: Tickets are sent out 7-10 working days after purchase regardless of date of departure assuming the full balance has been paid.

Q: Do you charge credit card fees?

A: Nope, we like our customers to feel as secure as possible so charging customers to use their credit card (which offers protection) goes against this. We do not charge for credit or debit cards.

A: We work with independant review specialist Trustpilot, to view verified reviews of our service from real customers please see our Orlando Attraction Tickets review page.

Remember Smiles included…. always.
