Universal Confirm Construction Activity At Islands of Adventure

One of the original lands at Universal’s Islands of Adventure is set to have some much needed TLC as Universal official Kristen Smith, Director of Public Relations stated in an email to the Orlando Business Journal.
In the coming months, there will be construction activity in Lost Continent as part of site planning to ensure the area is ready for any future developments,
Themed around a time when mysterious beasts and mythical gods roamed and ruled the world, the Lost Continent has been rumoured to be the subject of a permit applied for on the 10th Sept. to demolish nearly five acres of “theme park site” at Islands of Adventure. Several blogs have suggested that the permit could possibly be referring to replacing Poseidon’s Fury which closed in 2023 and The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad which closed in 2018. However Universal have declined to confirm the nature of the construction.
