Busch Gardens have finally announced the worst kept secret in theme park land, that they are indeed launching a new coaster due to open this spring.
Dubbed “Cheetah Hunt” it will represent the first ever launch coaster at Busch Gardens and will accelerate riders from 0-60 at breath taking speed three separate times during the ride. It will have three separate launch points throughout the ride and a 130-foot initial drop, and may pass over the linked animal encounter named “Cheetah run” it will also pass through a manmade canyon.
It appears that the initial name of Cheetaka has been shelved, which is a shame cos I believe its a lot catchier than Cheetah Hunt.
