Hey Thrill Seekers,

IP Series

This week we’ve been looking at Intellectual Properties (IP’s) and which ones we believe would make excellent additions to the Orlando theme park landscape. So far we’ve looked at Lord of the Rings  Assassin’s Creed and Stranger Things. Today we’re heading into outer space to become the next Captain Kirk, at Starfleet.

The Star Trek theme park IP is owned by Paramount Skydance and does have a history of licencing including “Star Trek: The Experience” in Las Vegas, Star Trek: Operation Enterprise coaster at Movie Park Germany and in 2025 appeared as part of Universal Hollywood’s FanFest Nights.

Starfleet Academy: How Star Trek Could Become Orlando’s Most Immersive Sci-Fi Land

Star Wars dominates Disney. Harry Potter dominates Universal but one legendary sci-fi franchise remains absent in Orlando: Star Trek.

With its optimistic vision of the future and devoted fanbase, Star Trek is perfectly suited for an immersive park experience.

Here’s how Starfleet Academy could boldly go where no theme park has gone before.

Starfleet Academy wouldn’t just entertain. It would inspire and in today’s world, optimistic sci-fi is more valuable than ever.

Would you visit join Starfleet at one of the parks, if so which park?

Smiles included…

Jamie
