LEGOLAND Florida And Universal’s Islands of Adventure Hit Capacity

LEGOLAND Florida reached full park capacity yesterday for the first time in its short history. Tweeting from its official twitter account LEGOLAND stated “Florida’s newest theme park has reached capacity.@LEGOLANDFlorida is no longer admitting guests (12/28/11). Tomorrow, opening at 9:30am”

Great news for the baby of Florida Theme Parks and bodes well for 2012.

LEGOLAND Florida’s Jackie Wallace said.

“We’re definitely busy, and you can definitely feel that we’re full. However, people are still smiling and having a great day,”

Also yesterday Universal’s Islands of Adventure closed its gates, as it hit capacity at around 12:30 nothing really new for the theme park giant as the popularity of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter continues to grip the public.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened on the 18th June2010 to a massive media hype and fan anticipation. Harry Potter reviews have been mostly positive, with some negative comments regarding wait times for the rides.

We’ve scoured the internet and spoken to visitors and come up with the following averaged queue time for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey  since June 2010.

When Is The Best Time To Visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

This year the most eagerly awaited theme park experience had to be The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of adventure however with the park being increasingly busy when is the best time to get the most from your tickets?

 At its height customers were queuing for up to 7 hours for popular rides like Harry Potter And The Forbidden Journey! Since its opening these waiting times have decreased however the attraction-tickets.info top tip for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is go mid afternoon around 3 pm onwards, if you happen to be going on a day when the park is open past 6pm then wait until then. The cooler climate combined with Theme park fatigue will result in smaller queues…

The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride at Universal Islands of Adventure Orlando. On this twin-tracked ride you’ll take a gentle journey high above the colorful rides and attractions of Seuss Landing. One track of the trolley even circles around the inside of Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous™ letting you wave at the guests dining below.
As you wait to board the trolley you’ll follow the wonderful story of the Sneetches™ featuring Sylvester McMonkey McBean™. One track continues the story of the Sneetches, while the other track gives you the ABC’s of Seuss Landing as you pass overhead. It’s great fun for the whole family.

Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges at Universals Islands of Adventure Orlando Florida is a Water ride,  splash and churn your way through the waterways of Sweet Haven you’ll sail through a variety of amusing scenes and different ways to get you wet, including a fully-operational barge wash and an Octopus Grotto where you’ll encounter an 18-foot tall, 14-foot wide octopus with 10-foot long tentacles. Don’t be surprised if you’re completely soaked when it’s all over!

Jurassic Park River Adventure At Universal Orlando

Jurassic Park River Adventure at Universals Island of Adventures in Orlando Florida stats as a gentle glide around the beautiful Jurassic scenery, sail past the enormous Ultrasaurus, see a baby Stegosaurus and its mother and keep a look out for the Dilophosauruses, commonly known as “spitters.”

Suddenly you’re bumped off course and into a restricted section of the park… the Raptor Containment Area. The power to the fences is down. The raptors have broken loose! You ascend into the Environmental Systems Building as chaos unfolds around you. The lights are out. Raptors stalk your every move. And your only escape from the terrifying jaws of a towering T-rex is an 85-foot plunge in total darkness!

Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls at Universals Islands of Adventure Orlando is a family orientated flume ride.

Set in the Canadian North Woods riders are sent on an adventure to save a damsel in distress.

Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls  is the first flume ride to send riders plummeting below the water level. Experience a 75-foot drop beneath an “exploding” dynamite shack!
