Hi Thrill Seekers,
I have been lucky enough to have been selected to go on a FAM trip
to Orlando this Friday 22nd November. A FAM trip, short for familiarisation, is one of the perks of my job, the idea behind it is quite straightforward. How can you successful sell a product if you’ve never experienced it?
This FAM trip will be hosted by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, giving me the opportunity to visit 4 amazing parks; SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove! We will be staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Orlando.
Today I received a pack containing lots of SeaWorld goodies, including a cute dolphin neck pillow for the long flight and a fan to keep us cool in the sun (cannot wait). It also included an itinerary of trip, which got me even more excited..which I didn’t think possible!
The first park we will be visiting is SeaWorld, which is just across the road from our hotel. I’m a massive fan of big rollercoasters and cannot wait to ride the Kraken! It’s a floorless coaster and you go upside down 7 times.
The next day we’ll be heading to Discovery Cove. I am particularly excited about this day as we’ll get the chance to swim with the dolphins, which I’m told is an unforgettable experience!
The following day we’ll be heading out to Tampa to visit Busch Gardens. Again, being a roller coaster fanatic I am really looking forward to hitting the 7 thrilling roller coasters! I also anticipate a few up close encounters with the 2’000 exotic animals that roam the naturalistic habitats at the park.
Our final day will be spent at Aquatica, SeaWorld’s waterpark. Aquatica didn’t exist last time I visited Orlando, many years ago so I cannot wait to cool off and see what this park has to offer!
I will write another post when I return and let you know my favourite rides and attractions.
